Dimpleplasty using Excision Technique

This traditional surgical method involves making a small incision on the inside of the cheek. A tiny piece of cheek muscle is removed, creating a small depression or dimple on the outer cheek when the muscle is reattached. Sutures are used to secure the muscle in its new position, creating a natural-looking dimple.

Dimple Creation using Sutures

This minimally invasive technique does not involve any tissue removal. The surgeon makes a small puncture or incision on the inside of the cheek or chin. A suture or thread is passed through the cheek or chin muscle and tied to create a dimple. The suture is usually absorbable and remains in place for a few weeks until the dimple is set.

Dimple Creation using Punch Technique

This technique involves using a circular punch tool to remove a small piece of tissue from the inner cheek or chin. The punch tool is carefully placed to ensure the precise location and depth of the dimple. Sutures or dissolvable stitches may be used to secure the tissue and create the dimple. The punch technique allows for customization in terms of dimple size and depth.
